Mixed media is an extension of a collage sensibility that continually occupies my creative process. It is the fusion of 2D and 3D mediums that play with the illusion and occupation of physical space, merging sculpture, found objects, drawing, and painting through shared forms. The house shape recurs time and again and still holds a special place in my visual storytelling. It is an old friend that visits from time to time and holds two separate realities, the private and the public, in the same visual space.
